This painting was inspired by a walk to Bleaberry Tarn above Buttermere on a hot July day. I took the original photograph while walking along the track to Buttermere. The wildflowers in the hedgerow contrasted beautifully against the greens in the distance.

This original painting measures 12x12x1.5". The image continues around the sides and there are D rings and string on the back so it's ready to hang on the wall. The title of the painting is written on the back. A coat of varnish is applied for protection.
