Summer Bouquet was inspired by the huge oriental poppies that grew in my garden this year. They were so beautiful. I really wanted to capture the feeling of collecting all the poppies and wild flowers, and bunching them up into a huge bouquet. I've also managed to accidentally paint a small lemur in this painting amongst the flowers. Can you spot him?
 
Acrylic on canvas. 
 
This original painting measures 30x30x1.5". The title and artist signature are on the back of the canvas. The sides of the canvas are painted and the canvas is strung and ready to hang on the wall. A coat of varnish is applied for protection.
