I'm always in awe of the views along Striding Edge, they never fail to impress.  I recently walked along the ridge on a Monday in October when it was much quieter and I had time to take in the vista.  This painting was inspired from that walk.
 
This original painting measures 16x16x1.5". The sides of the canvas are painted and there are D rings and string on the back so it's ready to hang on the wall. A coat of varnish is applied for protection.
