A beautiful view of Rydal Water from Steps End, when all the wild flowers are in bloom. Painted from a walk I did with my dad in November. We walked around Rydal and stopped at The Old School Room Tea Shop half way round and had a bowl of soup to warm up. It was a beautiful sunny day but freezing cold, not that you would know if from my painting. I took inspiration from the blue skies that day, used a bit of artistic licence and gave it a summery feel.
