This painting was inspired after a walk up Dove Crag near Brotherswater in the The Lake District. Priest's Hole is a cave half way up the crag which has a large letterbox style entrance. Once inside the cave, you get a stunning framed view of the fells. This painting is the view from inside the cave.

This painting is on box canvas, and continues around the sides so it's ready to hang on the wall. A coat of varnish is applied for protection.  Canvas measures 24 x 12 x 1.5".
