Peacock Garden is an original painting that was made using leaves and flowers from my garden. I painted and pressed the foliage directly onto the canvas to capture the natural veins and patterns. This created a textured base that I added to with hand painted flowers and leaves. The colours are a mix of teal greens and blues that remind me of peacock feathers, which is how the painting got its name.

This original painting measures 20x20x1.5". The title and artist signature are on the back of the canvas. The sides of the canvas are painted and the canvas is strung and ready to hang on the wall. A coat of varnish is applied for protection.
