A view of Fleetwith Pike during a walk around Buttermere in The Lake District. This painting was inspired after one of those walks on an autumnal day. The sun was setting which lit up the leaves and made them look golden. The grass in the foreground and the leaves on the trees have been painted using metallic paints so they glisten in the light. 
 
This original painting measures 10x8x1.5". The sides of the canvas are painted and there are D rings and string on the back so it's ready to hang on the wall. A coat of varnish is applied for protection.
