This view of Fairfield and the Helvellyn range was from a walk to Angle Tarn near Patterdale. The viewpoint is just under Angletarn Pikes, just before you get to the Tarn. I loved the layers in the landscape. It was autumn when I did the walk and the ferns and wild grasses had all taken on shades of orange and red.

This painting is on box canvas, and continues around the sides so it's ready to hang on the wall. 2 coats of satin varnish are added for protection. The canvas measures 24 x 12 x 1.5".
