This view was captured on the lower slopes of Place Fell, just after you climb out of Patterdale and turn right onto the fell side after the cottage.  It was autumn and I loved the colours on the trees as they started to turn.
 
The painting is on gallery wrapped box canvas and measures 10x5x1.5".  The image continues around the sides and there is a hook on the back so it's ready to hang on the wall or it will sit nicely on a shelf.  A coat of varnish is added for protection.
