This view is from the Coffin Route that runs from Ambleside to Grasmere. The field was full of sheep when I walked it but I imagined a wild meadow, full of colour in the middle of summer.
 
This painting is on box canvas and measures 30x20x1.5".  The image continues around the sides and there are D rings and string on the back so it's ready to hang on the wall.  A coat of varnish is applied for protection.
