This painting was inspired after a lovely walk in Oban.  We'd arrived to catch the ferry to Mull but it was fully booked so we walked around the headland to the beautiful beach and played ball with the dog for a few hours.  We walked back along the coastal road which is where this wonderful view is from. 
 
The painting is on box canvas and measures 24x 12 x 1.5".  There is a hook on the back and the painting has had 2 coats of satin varnish for protection.
